We awake this morning about 8:00a.m. feeling remarkably refreshed after our somewhat disturbed sleep. Do the French sleep on Friday nights? We read and watched tv a little after some guy shouting in the street woke us up about 5 but we managed a few more hours and ventured out for a Cafe Americano and a croissant.
Pictures are a must in our little 27 room Hotel St. Jacques. Check out the stairwell and accompanying artworks on display:

| Oh that's attractive! This is bad. I'm holding a baguette while eating a baguette with smoked salmon! Dear God, why are my clothes shrinking? |
We nip back to the hotel to leave our purchases. Gordon watches the rugby on TV while I load these pics and say Bonjour to you!
